• About Megan

Megan has studied hair and beauty with the finest in the industry. She studied intensively for two years with one of the former top colorists of Boston. Megan completed advanced training at the esteemed Toni And Guy Academy in London and Los Angeles as well as the Vidal Sassoon Academy in South Beach, Miami. She most recently completed an exclusive color and styling class with one of the top colorists in New York City , Beth Minardi of Midardi Salon.

1.14.06 :: Megan now takes appointments at Stilisti. "I will be starting 2007 at a beautiful, new salon: Stilisti, located at 138 Newbury Street 2nd floor. It is such an elegant and luxurious space, I can hardly wait for you to experience it. I think that all of you will agree that Stilisti is the most lovely salon on Newbury Street. Several of my colleagues from the Salon at Ten Newbury will be working with me at Stilisti and I am really looking forward to working with all of my friends again!"

9.22.06 :: Megan attended an elite coloring seminar in Chicago with Beth Minardi from NYC and several of the most skilled colorists in the country

:: 11.06.05 :: Colorist for a runway show benefiting The Dana Farber Cancer Research Center - I had the pleasure of being involved with such a great cause as Dana Farber Cancer Research. I colored the hair of several of the runway models who participated in the fashion show at Eastern Standard Restaurant in Boston . The event was a huge success generating almost $20,000 for cancer research. Everyone had a great time and the models looked stunning.

:: 11.07.05 :: Training with Beth Minardi of Minardi Salon , New York , NY Featured on Cable TV - I've just spent the day training with Beth Minardi at her salon right off of 5 th Avenue . She helped me to refine my techniques and gave me a greater range of creativity. Although Beth and I have very similar styles, she taught me several of her secrets and gave me tips to use in my own work. Her training has given me an even greater range of color and styling possibilities for my clients.

:: Fall 2005

I was selected by XY TV to be the colorist on their makeover show The VIP. The model was a working mother with washed out, drab hair. It was a dull brown color but had great potential. I put in warm lowlights to add depth and natural caramel-blonde highlights to give it more shine and dimension. After an exciting day of filming the end result was fantastic. It was my first makeover show and it was a blast.
